What is OmniED International?

OmniED is an educational consultancy with a focus on 'filling the gaps' in an organisation's knowledge and skill base particularly when it comes to the delivery of international education.


Most of our clients are Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and TAFE vocational educational providers with an interest in expanding their onshore and offshore education delivery to international students and overseas institutions.

 

Our clients are either preparing to deliver international education programs or are already doing so but require assistance with specific projects, tender or grant applications, scoping of new markets, strategic planning, compliance issues or even writing, editing or translation of promotional materials.

We also offer professional development to your staff in pre-departure and cross-cultural education in preparation for overseas assignments. We can provide short-term course delivery when required particularly in the areas of teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, business studies and real estate education.

Alan Maguire, the Principal of OmniED International, has over 30 years experience teaching and managing onshore and offshore English language and business programs and has worked as Manager of International Projects (Angliss Institute) and Manager of International Student Operations (Chisholm Institute) - photos featured here. He has also occupied the positions of Director of Studies (ELICOS) at two RTOs in Melbourne and in South Korea as Manager, Aviation English Language Centre, in a joint project with a TAFE Institiute in Melbourne.

Alan has a combination of vocational, undergraduate and post-graduate qualifications in English and foreign languages, secondary and vocational education, business and real estate and is a NAATI Level 3 translator in French and Spanish. In addition he has lived and worked in France, French Polynesia, South Korea, South-East Asia, China, Japan, East Timor, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. His experience has equipped him well to assist your organisation to gain smooth entry into any of these markets.
